The mission of the Hydrous is to create ʻopen access oceansʼ so that all people may explore, understand, and engage with marine environments which are severely threatened by climate change and human impacts. We seek to inspire ocean empathy and marine stewardship. Through science-based experiences, scalable solutions like virtual reality, and multidisciplinary partnerships, weʼre making the ocean accessible.
