About Charity

The Outreach Center is a community-based, 501 (c) (3), nonprofit, relief organization in Western North Carolina and serves impoverished clients through our hunger relief, job training, education, and arts programs. In addition to serving adults, our W.O.W. (Wishes, Opportunities, & Wonders) program which is designed to identify underserved children in our community and to allow them inclusion and equality through participation in music, education, arts, karate, and other extra-curricular activities which support teamwork, focus, discipline, and respect.
