As a school counselor, Jon Thompson quickly realized the unmet need for children to receive quality, affordable counseling. Many families did not have the capacity or means to seek high-cost traditional mental health care, leaving parents and children with few resources to get the help they need. Jon formed Peace Partnership in 2012 in conjunction with local business owners who saw an immediate need to provide premium counseling at affordable rates for underserved families and children. Peace Partnership believes your income should not be a factor in receiving quality care, so we offer our services for as low as $5 per session and free to students through our in-school counseling program. We also provide counseling support and education workshops to area churches. We believe that in order to build better communities, you must first start with building stronger families. Over 90% of our funding comes from individuals and businesses. We rely on the help of others to provide the means for those in need to get the help they deserve. By partnering with Peace Partnership, you are helping children and families find hope, healing, and purpose for their lives. Thank you.
