In the US we are responsible for raising money and giving advice but the Tanzanian Board of Directors makes the decisions as to what courses are taught, teachers to hire, student selection, etc. The village in which NLF is located is primarily a Muslim community so we gently proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. The community is poverty stricken and the hope our students have because they are learning a skill is truly remarkable. It gives hope to the whole village.
