See Beneath, Inc. was founded in 2012 to help the growing number of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) acquire critical play, communication, and social skills. We accomplish this by merging the latest advancements in technology and research-based principles of play for families who may benefit from interactive media-based activities. Our vision is a world where all children with ASD will develop to their full potential, especially families that lack access to interventions and resources. See Beneath is a volunteer-based nonprofit that has dedicated our time and resources to helping children with autism and their families. We created animation designed specifically for children with ASD called Aiko & Egor: Animation 4 Autism, which is available on phones and tablets through Android and iOs platforms. Our goal is to support positive changes in social and developmental milestones, such as requesting, taking turns, and acquiring play behaviors. At our community events, parents have anecdotally reported a lack of learning tools aimed at children of all ages, and in particular the needs of older children. Thus, our next goal is to create applications for older children with ASD.
Engage and educate children with autism by creating innovative tools that foster positive change.
