Ishan Gala Foundation provides financial assistance and support to families with children fighting cancer as well as grants to research initiatives focused on finding less toxic treatments. In 2008 a sweet, vibrant little boy named Ishan Gala passed away from Neuroblastoma at the age of 2. Ishan’s parents started the foundation in 2009 with the ultimate goal to make sure that no parent has to hear the words “there is nothing more we can do for your child". Along the way, they wanted to provide financial, emotional, and any other kind of support families with children fighting cancer may need. To date, the Ishan Gala Foundation has granted $150,000 to hospitals and research institutions and provided $50,000 in direct assistance to over 20 families. Each year they provide care packages to many local families throughout the year but especially during the holidays. The Ishan Gala foundation also partners with local businesses to host special events for the families and offer services at no cost or a discounted rate.
Change the future for children with cancer.
